ABOUT THE MOVIE

Feature documentary – 2019 – 85′

They are children from all over the world, children fighting for what they believe in. They are called José Adolfo, Aïssatou, Arthur, Heena or Peter… They never considered themselves as too weak, too young, or too alone to stand up against injustice or violence. Quite the contrary, thanks to their strong personality they turn things around and set an example for others to follow.

Human trafficking, child labor, forced marriage and extreme poverty… These children campaign on all fronts. As young as they may be, they recognize injustice or failure, either because they have suffered from it themselves or because they have witnessed it and decided to take action. Like José Adolfo who, at the age of 7, created a cooperative bank allowing the children of his neighborhood to earn money.

From India to Peru, from Bolivia to Guinea, this documentary meets these children who found the strength and courage to rebel and fight their own battles.

ACT

UNICEF estimates the worldwide children population at 2.2 billion. Out of them, 1.9 billion live in developing countries and 600 million suffer from poverty.

If children are the future of mankind, many take control of their own destiny, and consequently that of humanity, and stand up for the planet and their rights.

In the face of global challenges, the desire for commitment is growing. Thus, one French people out of four is involved in an association, one out of three are under 35: a number that has doubled since 2010. Statistics show that young people have faith in the future and that many of them are even involved in associations.
